Can I kick it in the front seat?

Home of the driver, the shotgun, the DJ, and as of late, lasting conversations.

I’ve had memorable conversations about other friends, relationships, the past, the future, friends, family, the weather, Vegas, school, and about each other. I even had one about playing high school basketball with a buddy of mine, coming home from Vegas and to this day, I still remember it. Left a lasting impression.

The front seat provides an intimate venue for your confidant and you. Your own little space. You can be driving somewhere or parked in a lot somewhere. Throw in a little background music and the mood is set for something memorable. If you have that connection with your passenger, then let your minds and hearts converse with one another. 

Close friends, acquaintances, crushes, family. Doesn’t matter who it is. Talk and the front seat is sure to deliver.

Secrets are made. Secrets are revealed. Confessions. Inner thoughts. Weaknesses. Jokes. Rumors. They all spill out over the dashboard, the center console, and attach themselves to each other. The front seat serves as a private room for these to be shared and discussed. People become closer. Bonds are made. Moments are shared. The front seat is where it happens.

Ever just watch what your passenger does while you’re driving? They sing. Wave at passing cars. Dance. Notice how they sit? Their body language? Where they place their hands? I like keeping my passengers comfortable. I want them relaxed. Seat back, enjoying the music, being themselves. Lately me and a girl have been sharing the front seats, exchanging lines like lyrics in a song between two artists over the radio. I’ll drop a verse, then she’ll lay one down, and then we’ll connect and share a chorus, while the sounds of the music and the road create the beat to the whole thing.

I notice that she sits with her feet up, at times, with her body faced towards me. Open body language. Lets you know that they’re comfortable with you. Let’s me know that what she is saying is real, it’s her - no phony. She sings, dances, and gestures at passing cars. No inhibitions to who she is and that’s what I strive to find out about her and about anyone in general. I want to know the real you - No facades. No fronts. Nothing phony. I like to think that the simplicity of the front seat and various parking lots have contributed to the making of our relationship. (Thanks, J)

The front seat collaborates with your inner thoughts and feelings and delivers a memorable experience for you and your passenger. So, can I kick it in the front seat, b? Three is company in the back, so let’s just chill in the front.
